I’m not a beauty blogger

I’m not a beauty blogger, obviously, and I’m not that far into the beauty vlogger’s circle; I have a few pet vlogs that I visit when I have the time, but that’s about it. Most days, I don’t even end up putting on makeup anymore. Unless there’s something important going on, there’s a threat of pictures being taken, or I just want to feel pretty; I don’t bother. I don’t have time anymore.

But that wasn’t always the case. There were many years when I wouldn’t leave the house without makeup on. I still make a trip to Ulta when I’m having a really terrible week. It’s still my security blanket; see above: I still paint myself up when I want to feel pretty. I very much understand the deeper importance of makeup to many of the female population.
